Chaise Longue | Frederik Roijé

During my internship at Studio Frederik Roijé, I designed a minimalistic chaise longue as an extension of my lounge chair project. This piece features a composition of clean, intersecting lines that create a bold yet lightweight aesthetic while ensuring structural strength. Building on the lounge chair’s design language, I focused on refining ergonomics to deliver an optimal sitting experience, balancing comfort and visual impact. My process involved exploring materials, testing proportions, and developing prototypes to achieve a seamless blend of form and function. This project reflects my commitment to creating timeless, functional designs with a strong, minimalistic character.
