Lounge Chair | Frederik Roijé

During my third-year internship at Studio Frederik Roijé, I designed a minimalistic lounge chair that embodies a balance of lightness and strength. Inspired by the studio’s refined aesthetic, I focused on creating a composition of clean, intersecting lines that convey elegance while maintaining structural integrity. My design process involved extensive sketching, prototyping, and material exploration, ensuring the chair aligned with the studio's vision of timeless functionality. Alongside this project, I contributed to various studio tasks, including conceptual development, model-making, and material research, gaining valuable insights into professional design practices. This experience strengthened my understanding of minimalistic design and precision craftsmanship.
